What are you most looking forward to in your new role at North Allegheny?
As an Alumni of NA, I am looking forward to serving the community I grew up in and being part of the positive changes that continue for this district.
Beyond safety, how do you envision your role in supporting the overall well-being of students?
Becoming a positive role model for the students. I’ve spent a large part of my career helping children as much as I can. Children are vulnerable, whether they think so or not, and there are too many negative influences, now more than ever. Along with parents, teachers, and other positive role models, a School Police Officer can be a strong link in that chain.
What is your favorite thing about Pittsburgh?
My Pittsburgh family roots go way back. I love the history, but mostly being on the river at night is awesome.
What are some of your interests or hobbies outside of law enforcement?
Spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy boating, fishing, metal detecting, my classic cars, and reading history.
